Austerity Measures

My lab eats lunch together every day, and every Friday we go out to lunch. And honestly? I wasn’t big on going out to eat once a week even before I turned to my current austerity measures. So, when I found out about a 10 week seminar that I was interested in, that happens to occur Fridays at lunch time, I signed up. This isn’t going to be permanent, because sometimes $40 a month is worth work harmony. But in the spirit of cutting back, and getting on track with savings, avoiding Friday lunches out is worth it to me. Plus I get to learn about a cool emerging topic. Yay for being nerdy!

Savings over the next 10 weeks: approximately $100 or 1 textbook
